In my acting career I gave numerous interviews. I had to learn how to keep the situation in hand with journalists and that my words were accurately reported.<\/p>

More than 20 years ago, when I was asked by a consulting firm to prep their clients for the delivery of press conferences and interviews, I designed a method that I could easily transmit to the business world.<\/p>

  1. Preparing the text of the interview and its key message<\/li>
  2. Understanding the journalist\u2019s viewpoint and his method \u2013 put oneself in his shoe<\/li>
  3. Building a concise, factual and persuasive communication.<\/li>
  4. Staying on top of the interview, preventing the potential pitfalls<\/li>
  5. Improving one\u2019s ability to improvise and have some wit<\/li>
  6. Getting ready to answer any question with ease<\/li><\/ol>
